So, after chatting a bit with my new friend, SwipeatronSparks, I decided to scrap my main OC and revise her completely. First, her name. I originally named her Saya Otonashi. Now I think I should re-name her because, although she does have some Asian breeding, it's probably not Japanese. Maybe I could name her Leah, and leave her without a surname. Leah like in the bible, who has all those kids and people arguing over whether or not her eyes were blue ("tender") or possibly heterochromatic. My character has weird eyes, too. So, it fits, I suppose. Her appearance can stay mostly the same.

This is the prompt for her background:

"____ is the only successful result of a crossbreeding experiment conducted by the Quintessons. Their goal was to create the perfect warrior."

Simple, right? Not really. It leaves me a lot of open space to fill in. I'm sure that I can do it and avoid the dreaded Mary-Sue. Frankly, I dislike my character but she fascinates me. It's a strange, love-hate relationship between author and muse/character. More like a sister-sister relationship. With all the emotions and hormones gone wild. Rawr. Crazy like that. You know? At each other's throats one minute, hugging the next. That kinda crazy.
